WHAT IS THE

ALL-IN-ONE CAMP?

At Samuel Dongsan Christian School, we host seasonal English camps every year in both Canada and Korea with the goal of nurturing future leaders with global leadership. Korean children spend about four weeks together with Canadian youth (known as buddies), who are native English speakers and well-acquainted with North American culture.

In particular, these buddies lead English classes using Canadian public school textbooks, providing campers with an opportunity to experience authentic North American education.

During the summer, campers explore Canada’s breathtaking nature, cultural sites, and various sports activities. In the winter, they experience Korea’s traditional culture and K-POP. Through these experiences, children not only improve their English skills naturally, but also grow into self-directed individuals who learn cooperation and harmony within a community.

FIND YOUR

TRUE SELF

Activities from surfing, canoeing, and horseback riding to orchestra, musicals, golf, private swimming lessons, blueberry picking, Korean Nongak performances, K-POP dance challenges, and even drone flying - our camp offers unforgettable experiences that inspire confidence and independence.

Each adventure is more than just an activity - it’s a step toward discovering your true self, unlocking hidden potential, and shaping a richer, more vibrant identity.

FELLOWSHIP

BRINGS JOY

Our camp is filled with moments that bring people together, such as garden steak parties, Korean dinner nights, soccer games, outdoor adventures, Christmas celebrations, New Year’s banquet, children’s choir, movie nights, and many more!

Through these shared experiences, campers build meaningful connections, learn the joy of community, and create lifelong memories that they will cherish forever.

EMBARK ON

GLOBAL ADVENTURE

From camping in Golden Ears Park, touring the University of British Columbia, and exploring downtown Vancouver, to joining Luther and ARC summer camps, skiing in winter, training at Taekwondowon, and visiting the Korean Folk Village - our programs open doors to both Canada’s stunning nature and vibrant local culture, as well as Korea’s rich traditions and history.

Each journey is more than a trip; it’s a step into a wider world to broaden perspectives, break personal boundaries, and shape current and future campers into global Christian members who can thrive in any community.

DAILY CLASS

Our Daily Classes are designed with unique programs found only in our camp, ranging from ESL (English as a Second Language) lessons, Reading Buddy sessions, daily journaling and musical performance rehearsals.

Every day, campers grow through meaningful interactions with buddies who are native English speakers, naturally learning authentic expressions and real-life communication skills used across North America.
